Which Phones are getting Android 5.0 Lollipop update Lets See:--

Android 5.0 Lollipop is the "13th major version of Android."

As all know that update for Motorola devices (Moto E, Moto X,Moto G rest others also) is sure and just rolling out and For Nexus too.

LG spokeswoman Claire Jang told CNET on November 11 that Korean G3 owners would get the upgrade this month "followed by other markets including Europe and North America subsequently."But she cautioned that "time frames for the upgrade can be varied and also changeable as per region, country, as well as the carrier, so the specific period can hardly be confirmed at this moment LG phones will get the Lollipop update before the year ends December end 2014 .

HTC has also confirmed lollipop update for its Flagship(M8) but they are saying needs 90 days time frame.

Since Google released the source code on Oct. 17 2014, HTC One owners might receive update in early Feb 2015. But Desire series owners might have to wait till May 2015.

--Here are the rest of the confirmed and speculated schedule of releases for LG and HTC phones:--

As listed by The Android Soul:

1. LG G3 users who have plans with carriers, T-Mobile and Sprint, will also probably get the update by December.
2. LG G3 users, who have plan bundles with AT&T and Verizon, will get the update in January 2015.
3. LG phones that will probably get the update are: LG G3 S, LG G3 Beat, LG G3 Vigor, LG G2, LG G Pro 2, LG G Pro, and LG G Flex.
4. LG G3 S, LG G3 Beat, LG G3 Vigor, LG G2 will get the Lollipop update by January or February while LG G Pro 2, LG G Pro, and LG G Flex will probably get the update by March or April.
5. Users of LG G2 mini, LG Lucid 3, LG F70,LG L70, and LG L90 may have to pray hard as it is still unsure if they will get the Lollipop update.
6. LG G Pad 10.1, LG G Pad 8.0, and LG G Pad 7.0. may get the update by May or June.

7.HTC flagship devices -- HTC One M7 and HTC One M8 -- will surely get the Lollipop update,
8. The HTC One M8 and HTC One M7 will probably get the Lollipop update by January or February.
9. Other HTC phones that will get the new Android version are HTC One Max, HTC One E8, HTC One Mini, HTC One Mini 2, HTC Desire 820, HTC Desire 510, HTC Desire 516, HTC Desire 816, HTC Desire 610, HTC Desire 601, HTC Butterfly, and HTC Butterfly S.
10. It is still not sure if the HTC Droid DNA will get the update.
11. Users of HTC One Max, HTC One E8, HTC One Mini, and HTC One Mini 2 will probably get the update by March or April.
12. The Lollipop update will be available to users of HTC Desire 820, HTC Desire 510, HTC Desire 516, HTC Desire 816, HTC Desire 610, HTC Desire 601, HTC Butterfly,and HTC Butterfly S by May or June.

 Other phones expected to get the Lollipop update are the Sony Xperia Z series.

Till date, it is still unknown when the Samsung smartphones will get the Lollipop update but several rumors have suggest that it will arrive either late this year or early next year.But Samsung, through a Twitterpostdated October 21, hinted that the Galaxy Note 4 will probably get the Lollipop update. The photo showed a Galaxy Note 4 that has a wallpaper of three swirled lollipops. It had the caption, "Anyway you look at it, the #GALAXYNote4 Quad HD Super AMOLED display is pretty sweet.#NoteThe Difference."
